The 28-year-old has now had five top 15 finishes on the European Tour this season, one year after rescuing his Tour card at the season ending Qualifying School.

Parry had swept into contention in Griesbach after carding a superb opening round of 66, which only included one blemish on the 18th.

The 18th proved a tricky hole for Parry throughout the week as he also bogeyed the hole during his next two corresponding rounds of 70.

He was able to climb 11 places on the leaderboard in Sunday’s final round following four birdies on the back nine, in which he parred the final hole.

Jaidee won the tournament on 17 underpar, one shot ahead of England’s Graeme Storm.
