Winger Rob Youhill returns to save Harrogate Railway

Rob Youhill has made a dramatic return to try and save home town club Harrogate Railway from relegation.

Youhill was named in Railway's starting line-up to face Northwich Victoria on Saturday in place of former Darlington 1883 teammate Amar Purewal.

The winger, who has also played for Harrogate Town, exited Station View at the end of last season after starring in the club's record high league position in Evo-Stik First Division North under Billy Miller.

He struggled to make an impression at Darlington after dislocating his elbow in a pre-season friendly against Railway and subsequently went to high-flying Shaw Lane Aquaforce.

However, with Railway deep in relegation mess at the bottom of the table under Lee Ashforth, the right-sided midfielder responded to the club's SOS call.
