When the National League play-offs will take place and how you can watch them

It was proposed on Thursday that points-per-game ratio be used to decide final standings, top-of-the-table Barrow be promoted to League Two automatically and play-offs be held to determine who takes the second promotion spot.

Fifth-tier clubs have to vote on the National League board's resolution by Monday. If it is passed, then Harrogate (2nd) will face the winner of Boreham Wood (5th) versus FC Halifax Town (6th), at home, in their play-off semi-final.

Meanwhile, Notts County (3rd) would lie in wait for the victor of the other eliminator tie between Yeovil Town (4th) and Barnet (7th on PPG).

If they go ahead, all play-off games will take place behind closed doors at the ground of the home team, apart from the final, which will be held a neutral venue.

Matches will be broadcast live on BT Sports and will begin on July 18. They must be finished by July 31.

Clubs who qualify for the play-offs won't be sanctioned if they decide that they don't want to participate.
