Centre half Danny Stimpson has become Harrogate Town’s latest signing when he put pen to paper over the weekend.
Danny, 21, started out as a youth player for Huddersfield Town before switching to York City. Following an impressive stint in the reserves, Danny turned down a professional contract with the Minstermen in order to move to Sweden and fulfil a dream of playing continental football with Ange IF.
During his one season aboard, Danny won their Young Player of the Season award. On returning to England, he has also had a trial at Blue Square Bet Premier side Luton Town before coming to the attention of Town manager Simon Weaver.
