Harrogate Town welcome Premiership stars Blackburn Rovers Reserves to the CNG Stadium on Wednesday night, in their next pre-season friendly (7.30pm).
Simon Weaver’s troops will want to make amends for Saturday’s friendly defeat at Harrogate Railway, although could be in for a tough time against Rovers who are expected to field a side mainly comprised of youth players.
Saturday will see Town welcome Darlington to Harrogate, before the Blue Square North season starts in earnest a week on Saturday, with a home game against Altrincham.
Blackburn’s Reserves were in action on Sunday, recording a 3-1 win at Curzon Ashton.
Last week they travelled north of the border to a training camp in Scotland, where they lost 2-1 to Rangers Reserves and also played a game against Bulgaria’s U-19s which finished 2-2.
