Bradford will now have to play the game without their ineligible player but there has been date confirmed so far for the clash.

Tadcaster protested to the West Riding County FA (WRCFA) that Alex Pursehouse, who signed from Worksop Town on February 10, was played in the fixture which had been postponed due to fog.

However, to be eligible for the re-arranged fixture, Pursehouse would have had to have been contracted by 12 noon on Friday 6th February 2015 so would have been ineligible for the game on February 10 and February 16.

A spokesperson for the WRCFA, said: “Mr C Barker (Secretary of Bradford Park Avenue) wished for the County FA to be aware that he had obtained what he considered to be verbal approval from the West Riding County FA Governance Department in advance of the game, advising that Pursehouse was eligible to compete in the re-arranged fixture.

“This evidence was considered as mitigation. Considering all the evidence, the decision taken by the subcommittee was for the fixture to replayed.

“The game is to be replayed at Tadcaster Albion on a mutually agreeable date before 31st March 2015.”
