Sheffield United youngster Joe Ironside has agreed to stay at Harrogate Town on loan until the end of the season.
Ironside has made seven appearances in a yellow and black shirt since joining the CNG Stadium last month.
However, the young forward has yet to notch his first goal for the Harrogate club.
Since joining, Town have moved into the Skrill North play-off zone and sit fifth after rivals Brackley Town lost 3-1 at Gloucester City on Tuesday night.
Town boss Simon Weaver said: “We have renewed his deal till the end of the season.
“He’s a big presence and he roles his marker really well.
“He’s had a lot of interest in him from clubs higher up but he decided to stay with us and push us towards promotion.”
Blades teammate Jahmal Smith is also on loan at Town but the talent has not featured in the first team squad in March.
Town have also announced Liam Hardy has lengthened his stay at Evo-Stik Northern Premier outfit Buxton until the end of the season.
Hardy has scored five goals in four matches for the Bucks, including braces against Ilkeston and Kings Lynn.
Weaver had originally sent Hardy out on loan to maintain the striker’s match sharpness with an intention to bring him back for the season run-in.
But the forward will stay at the Peak District outfit until the close of the campaign
However, Town could recall Hardy from the loan if they give Buxton 24 hours notice.
