Rejuvenated Railwaymen hit fellow strugglers for six
Marlon Adams’ rejuvenated side scored three times in each half on their way to a 6-2 success in South Yorkshire, meaning that they now remain in the relegation zone on goal difference alone.
Recent signing Sheiden Rogers, formerly of Huddersfield Town and Brighouse Town, made an immediate impact for his new side, cutting in off the right wing to fire home the game’s opening goal with nine minutes gone.

Having been called up from the club’s under-19s, Nathan Merchant produced a delightful lob that found its way into the back of the net via the far post.
Andrew Fox pulled one back for Parkgate from the penalty spot in the 36th minute, but Railway were soon back on the front foot.
Adam Carter restored Adams’ men’s two-goal cushion almost immediately, coolly lifting the ball over advancing Parkgate gloveman Jamie Housley after being played through on goal.

Nathan Joynes struck to reduce the deficit just after the hour-mark, however the men from Station View notched for the fifth time as Rogers pounced again after Housley saved substitute Frazer Lancaster’s initial attempt.
Daniel O’Donnell then rounded things off in the last minute, shooting through Housley’s legs to cap a fine afternoon’s work.
