In this episode, acting sports editor Ed White is joined by colleague Dan Windham in the Press Box studio to review the final six months of the year.

July could not have started better for sport across the area, with the world’s biggest cycle race trundling through our towns.

Later in July, the area’s top sportsmen and women headed up to Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games, winning three gold medals.

The lads look back at the highs and lows of all the competitions that took place, and hand out a few awards from the top performing stars.

The awards include; manager of the year, team of the year, young sportsperson, unsung hero and a lifetime achievement award.

The show is rounded off with the boys announcing the winner of the prestigious Press Box sportsperson of the year award.
