Players believe in Harrogate Town title challenge, says skipper Danny Ellis
The West Yorkshire club achieve play-off success in the National League North last season but Ellis left due to a will to stay at semi-professional level.
From Guiseley, Ellis signed at the CNG Stadium in the summer and he has been a rock at the back for Simon Weaver's men.

Hide AdThe defender said: "I try not to compare it. It’s a different start and different club I want to win things, that’s why I'm here.
"We've got that feeling when you always think we can win games. That’s what we had at Guiseley last year. We always knew that we could nick a win."

The defender’s commanding presence has helped Town go more than 300 minutes without conceding a goal – a run which has coincided with Simon Weaver’s men charging into title contention.

Hide AdSolihull Moors top the table with a lead of four points over the Wetherby Roaders but Town are the division’s form team and beat Moors 6-0 at the CNG Stadium last month.
Ellis said: "Everyone is buzzing but we’re not getting carried away.
"We’re in a good position and we’re focused on keeping that good position. We’ll try fight for top spot and hope we can chip away and see what happens.
"We all firmly believe we can do it. We have played Solihull and beaten them here.

"But we all firmly believe we have the squad of players that can go and do it. There’s no reason why we can’t."
