The pair are likely to make their debut against Evo-Stik First Division North leaders Warrington Town at home on Saturday in place of Simon Parkes (suspended) and Steve Bromley (injured).

Ashforth was hoping to make one more marquee signing prior to Warrington's visit and has approached a veteran defender well known in the Evo-Stik leagues.
