Hide AdJoe Cracknell 6 - Wasn’t seriously extended at any point. Showed a safe-enough pair of hands when called upon. Couple of poor kicks.
Ryan Fallowfield 8 - ADVERTISER STAR MAN. Got into some dangerous positions and provided real width down the right with a succession of overlapping runs in the first half. Less effective as an attacking force after the break, though he was excellent defensively and made a number of important interventions inside his own box.
Will Smith 8 - Another solid defensive showing from the young centre-half. Stood up and tackled well, covered in behind his team-mates to good effect and won plenty of aerial duels. Capped a very decent night's work with a fine headed goal.

Hide AdConnor Hall 7 - Never looked in too much trouble and, as is usually the case, he read the game intelligently for the most part. One failure to dominate his man aerially in the second half almost proved costly as Notts got in down their left as a result, though that was the only major lapse. Drew a fine save out of Sam Slocombe with a 34th-minute effort.
Warren Burrell 6 - Always tough for a right-footed left-back to make much of an impression going forwards, however he was solid enough defensively for the most part.
George Thomson 6 - Very impressive in the first 45. Combined well with Fallowfield down the right, went close with two good strikes and delivered the free-kick which led to Town's goal. By contrast, his second-half display was one his loosest in some time.

Hide AdJosh Falkingham 6 - Another player who looked good in the opening period but wasn't at his best after half-time. Snapped into challenges and was able to dictate things to start with, but couldn't control proceedings like he so often does in the second 45. Seemed frustrated with his team-mates at times.
Lloyd Kerry 7 - Tackled, tidied up and broke up play well - particularly in the first period. Used the ball intelligently, showing tidy feet and some neat touches in tight areas. But, like Falkingham, wasn't able to boss the midfield as the evening wore on.
Brendan Kiernan 7 - Given a chance to stake his claim for a starting berth on the left flank and did okay without setting the game alight. Worked hard to get up and down and tracked back plenty. Used his quick feet to get himself into some promising areas, though couldn't find a finish or killer pass or cross.

Hide AdAaron Martin 7 - Put himself about in the first half, without winning as much in the air as he did against Walsall on Saturday. Provided an excellent assist for Town's goal, however, as was the case against Walsall, he tired was less influential in the latter stages.
Jack Muldoon 7 - Embarked on a couple of driving runs before half-time and looked after the ball pretty well throughout. A fairly polished performance, as usual, but went down injured and was replaced on 69 minutes.
