Jason Mycoe fired Albion ahead with a thunderous blast from distance but Staveley missed two glorious opportunities to equalise from the penalty spot.

The first effort went wide before goalkeeper Gary Stevens blocked the second low to his right after conceding it himself.

The winning goal came in the 81st minute when Courtney Hastings blasted low into the net.

Albion remain two points clear of Bridlington Town at the top of the table but only three points separate the top four title contenders.
