Staveley Miners Welfare 2-1 Tadcaster Albion
Tadcaster Albion's seven-match winning run came to a halt at seventh-placed Staveley Miners Welfare on Wednesday evening.
Billy Miller's table toppers conceded a first half lead as they missed an opportunity to stretch out a five-point gap at the top of the table.
Jason Mycoe fired Albion ahead with a thunderous blast from distance but Staveley missed two glorious opportunities to equalise from the penalty spot.
The first effort went wide before goalkeeper Gary Stevens blocked the second low to his right after conceding it himself.
Kieran Watson eventually levelled matters for the hosts ten minutes into the second half after sneaking in behind.
The winning goal came in the 81st minute when Courtney Hastings blasted low into the net.
Albion remain two points clear of Bridlington Town at the top of the table but only three points separate the top four title contenders.
