We are underway again... Come on Town!!!

Business as usual:

Town have started the second half just as they finished the first... in control, but not showing enough class in the final third.

Cutting edge required:

Town asking plenty of questions during the early moments of the second period, but they’re lacking that little bit of cutting edge inside the Concord box.

Best chance of the game for Rangers’ Jack Cawley, but he blazes over the Town bar from three yards out. Has to score that. A big let-off for the Sulphurites.

Living dangerously:

For all of Town’s dominance in possession, they are still at 0-0 and Concord are starting to believe they can get something out of this. Town need to find another gear.

Double change at 62 minutes:

Double-substitution for Town.

Mark Beck replaces Stead up top, Ryan Fallowfield replaces Jones, who is on a booking. Burrell will switch to left-back and Fallowfield will play down the right

Huge chance for Town:

Town’s best chance of the second half, a fine last-ditch challenge prevents Beck from converting Falkingham’s cross from the right at the near post.

More Town pressure. Falkingham’s shot is blocked, then Thomson follows up with a volley which Haigh does well to push behind.

Another change for Town:

Friday’s hat-trick hero Brendan Kiernan is on, taking the place of McPake on the left flank.

Concord goalkeeper Chris Haigh has had an outstanding game so far, making some crucial saves and proving the difference between the two sides.
