Leyton Orient 3 Harrogate Town 0: Advertiser player ratings

Here's an assessment of how Simon Weaver's players performed in East London.
James Belshaw 6 - Beaten by two good finishes in the first half and made a good stop at 1-0, but misjudged the flight of the ball and got in a tangle with Ryan Fallowfield for Orient's third.

Hide AdRyan Fallowfield 6 - Was involved in Town's best move of the first half and not afraid to bomb on from right-back. Often struggled to stop deliveries from his side of the field, however.

Jake Lawlor 5 - An afternoon to forget for the centre-half who was targeted by Danny Johnson early on and couldn't deal with the three-goal frontman's pace. Replaced at half-time.
Conor Hall 6 - ADVERTISER STAR MAN. Found himself on the ball on plenty of occasions, but was unable to make any real impact with his long-range passing. Never looked comfortable with the amount of pace in the home ranks.
Dan Jones 6 - Like Fallowfield, was able to get forward frequently, but his end product often let him down. Booked late on for a reckless challenge that could have been punished more severely.

Hide AdGeorge Thomson 6 - Cut a frustrated figure on the right side of the midfield three. A number of his set-pieces were agonisingly out of reach of their targets, with Hall and Jon Stead both almost getting on the end of free-kicks.

Josh Falkingham 6 - Got on the ball frequently at the bottom of Town's midfield three, starting a few promising attacking moves and releasing Fallowfield down the right during one of Harrogate's better moves.
Lloyd Kerry 5 - Started brightly, pressing high up and breaking forward from midfield, but his afternoon became one of uncharacteristicly wayward passing that could have cost Town on occasion. Replaced on the hour-mark.
Brendan Kiernan 6 - Was involved in a lot of tidy interplay, but end product was disappointing. One shot in anger high into the stand rather summed up his day.

Hide AdAaron Martin 6 - Perhaps could have done better with Fallowfield's deep cross to the back post that was headed into the arms of home custodian Lawrence Vigouroux. Worked hard and made some clever early runs, but ultimately didn't pose enough of a threat.
Jack Muldoon 6 - Showed glimpses of his ability when drifting inside from the left and getting on the ball, but often opted for the wrong option at the key moment.
Substitutes:
Warren Burrell (on for Lawlor, 46) 6 - On for Lawlor at half-time in a bid to deal with the Orient counter-attacks, a job he did well in the early stages. Could he be a longer-term partner for Hall while Will Smith remains injured?
Jon Stead (on for Martin, 60).
Connor Kirby (on for Kerry, 60).
Tom Walker (on for Kiernan, 84).
