Knaresborough draw a blank against Rossington
In a game of few chances and fewer moments of real excitement, Paul Stansfield’s men dominated the first 45 minutes, but had only three chances across the whole of the half.
Seb Carole volleyed against the top of the crossbar in the third minute and Brad Walker broke through but saw a fine shot well-saved by Danny Morton in the Rossington goal.

Dan McDaid’s free-kick flew over soon after the break before the visitors had their first real effort on goal which saw Jack Rushworth tip over Brad Billam’s strike.
At the other end, Walker fired wide and a Will Lenehan header was saved, as was a Heath shot following Jonty Maullin’s through-ball.
As Town pressed, Walker’s next effort was deflected wide and Lenehan then headed over from another corner kick.

Stansfield’s troops remain eighth in the league standings, six points shy of a play-off spot and 13 short of an automatic promotion place.
