Harrogate Town v Solihull Moors.
A strong second-half showing saw Harrogate Town fight back from a goal down to earn a point from their opening fixture of the 2019/20 National League season.
Here's an assessment of how Simon Weaver's men performed during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Solihull Moors. PICTURES: MATT KIRKHAM.
James Belshaw 8. Kept his team in it with two vital early saves. The game could have been over inside six minutes, but for him.
Warren Burrell 7. The most assured defender in a yellow and black shirt. Made one superbly-timed sliding tackle in the second half. Town looked better with him at centre-half.
Will Smith 5. A real baptism of fire and the young centre-half looked uncomfortable at times, particularly during the opening 45. Substituted due to a hand injury.
Connor Hall 6. A shaky start, but improved as the afternoon wore on. Looked unsettled by the physicality of Nathan Blissett and Paul McCallum early on.
George Smith 6. Steady if unspectacular. Was not able to get forwards from left-back as much as he has done in pre-season.
Brendan Kiernan 8. A dazzling debut, he caused Solihull all sorts of problems with his pace and willingness to run at defenders. Just a shame about the penalty miss.
