Harrogate Town's Carabao Cup clash at West Bromwich Albion selected for live TV coverage

Harrogate Town's Carabao Cup second round game against Premier League West Browmich Albion will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Simon Weaver's team's reward for winning their first-ever League Cup tie via a penalty shoot-out at Tranmere Rovers' Prenton Park on Saturday was a trip to the Hawthorns to face Slaven Bilic's newly-promoted Baggies.

The 6pm fixture on Wednesday, September 16 kicks-off a televised double-header, with Everton hosting Town's old foes Salford City at 8.15pm.

The other televised games see Burton host Aston Villa (Tuesday, 7.45pm) and Portsmouth travel to Brighton and Hove Albion (Thursday, 7.45pm).

National League play-off winners Harrogate make their Football League debut at Southend United on Saturday.
