Hearn joins the CNG Stadium on a loan until the end of the season after scoring ten goal in 21 appearances for Lincoln.

The move will see the 30-year-old striker link back up with Town striker Paul Clayton after the pair enjoyed a fruitful partnership at Alfreton Town.

Hearn and Clayton were both part of the Alfreton squad to win promotion out of the then Conference North in the 2010/11 season.

Hearn scored 65 goals in 94 games for the Midlands outfit before signing for Grimsby Town, scoring 33 times in three seasons at the Mariners.

Harrogate are currently second in National League North with a nine-point gap to league leaders Solihull Moors.

Boss Simon Weaver said earlier this week that he was hopeful of recruiting a striker to supplement his options despite the return to fitness of Dominic Knowles.

Knowles made his first appearance of 2016 when he came off the bench for Town in Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat to Tamworth.
