Simon Weaver's men beat Skelmersdale United 4-1 in the competition's first round on Friday night to set up a home showdown with the Tangerines, a Premier League outfit as recently as 2011.

The Wetherby Road club has never made it as far as the third round in its 106-year existence, and club captain Josh Falkingham says that he and his team-mates will be going all out to make more history just a few months on from securing a first-ever promotion EFL this summer.

"We're delighted first and foremost to get a home tie, against difficult opposition in Blackpool," he said.

"It's another chance to test ourselves - against League One opposition. Blackpool were in the Premier League not so long ago and it'll be a real tough test.

"We'll just be looking to write even more history for the club and try and get into the third round, something we've never done.

"It would be nice if we can be in front of the cameras again, but we'll just have to wait and see."

All second round ties will be played between November 27-30.
