Hide AdA frantic 25-minute spell followed but it took until the 35th minute for Louise Donnelly to bring Railway level. Donnelly stuck home a left-footed shot into the bottom corner after skipper Ali Purvis delivered a peach of a cross from the right.
Railway again started slowly in the second half and two high quality saves from Charlotte Donnelly to keep them level.
Railway soon sorted themselves out from the early scares and went ahead through Jodi Hodgson’s 18-yard volley.
The tempo was picked up again by both teams but it was Railway that was having the best of the passing and moving, showing the younger team their seniority and passing skills.
