Beesley signed on dual registration terms from Harrogate Town prior to Monday night's 2-1 defeat to Burscough, making his debut late on.

The striker, who is an Under 21s coach at Town, has been on the sidelines since suffering a knee ligament injury at Town in pre-season.

Purewal has extended his loan deal from Darlington 1883, but the Quakers can recall the striker at 24 hours notice.

The striker picked up an injury during his initial month-long stay at Railway but still found the net on three occasions.

The two deals have forced Vincent Dhesi and Tom Owen out of Station View.

Dhesi has hooked up with former boss Paul Marshall at Pickering Town while Owen has returned to Selby Town.

Ossett Town's win over New Mills on Tuesday put Railway five points behind in the survival race but Ashforth remained defiant.

Boss Lee Ashforth said: “We are getting the right type of players on the pitch that can win games. We just need to be mentally capable of getting a result.

“It's going to be an interesting run in. Realistically, it's now a two-horse race between us and Ossett.

“We see all our remaining games as winnable. We just need a bit of luck.”
