Former Wetherby High School pupil Elliot Kebbie has signed a full-time contract with Championship outfit Barnsley – five years after leaving Leeds United for Athletico Madrid.
The talented footballer finished last season on the books of Class of 92 club Salford City, helping them to promotion to the National League North.
Kebbie was one of the hottest prospects as a youngster at Leeds and attracted the attention of Barcelona and Manchester United.
He was eventually snapped up by Spanish giants Atletico at the age of 16 but his stay in Spain was disrupted by illness.

After returning to England, Kebbie had trials at Hull City and Doncaster Rovers but failed to make the grade and dropped into non league at Brighouse Town and later Salford City.
The 21-year-old full-back has signed a six-month deal at Barnsley following a bidding war for his services.
Head of Academy Recruitment Bobby Hassell said: "Elliot is a very talented player.
"He's a modern day full back who likes to get forward with great pace and power.
"I believe he has all the attributes to push for a place in the first team."
