Harrogate Town are close to announcing the return of former goalscoring hero Chib Chilaka.
Chilaka scored Town's famous winner against Torquay in the FA Cup first round four years ago and became a cult figure at the club.
However, boss Simon Weaver surprised fans by releasing the striker at the end of the 2012/13 season.
The forward has since made his mark at National League North rivals Bradford Park Avenue, scoring 16 goals last campaign.
It is understood the club and player have reached an agreement to bring him back to the CNG Stadium and the signing will be unveiled later today.
More to follow.
