Warrington’s Nathan Burke stopped any thoughts of a heroic comeback in injury time to put the game to bed for the high-flying hosts.

Railway are now without a point in Evo-Stik First Division North since beating Mossley 2-0 on September 7.

Ashforth’s men are now 19th in the table, only one point and one place above the relegation zone after 11 games.

Meanwhile, Josh Greeninig fired Tadcaster Albion to a dramatic win at ten-man Retford United 1-0.

Retford were reduced to ten men shortly into the second half due to a professional foul on Greening as he raced through on goal.

Andy Milne went close with a header from the resulting free-kick, but like most of Albion’s attacks, he saw his effort miss the target.

However, in the dying moments, Greening popped up with the winner to keep his side top of the Northern Counties East League.

Eustance fired home an equaliser two minutes after the break before Graham Whitehead restored the lead shortly after.

Eustance added two more to complete his hat-trick and wrap up the three points in the second half, before Eccleshill grabbed the eighth goal of the game late on.
