Both players were plagued by injuries last season and did not have their contracts renewed by Simon Weaver.

Town's boss invited the teenage pair back for pre-season training but both see their futures away from the CNG Stadium.

Fallowfield joined Town in a loan deal from Premier League side Hull City during the 2014/15 season and impressed enough to earn a permanent deal.

However, the midfielder suffered a broken foot last season and failed to force his way back in for the season-ending play-offs.

He is on trial at new National League side North Ferriby United.

Weaver said: “I really like Ryan, he was a very upbeat character and always had a smile on his face. We will miss him around the place but have to understand and accept his wishes to move on.

“Ryan has the qualities to do very well in the game and put his set-backs behind him and we really hope he does just that.”

Cadman joined Town from Stalybridge Celtic but also suffered a broken foot at the start of last season.

He was a surprise second half substitution in the crucial first leg defeat against AFC Fylde.

Weaver added: “James also has a tremendous character and his dedication is second to none.

"He has taken the decision to trial elsewhere at a club where he feels he may get more game time.

"We respect his decision and wish him the best of luck.”

Meanwhile, Weaver confirmed Andy Gascoigne will report back for pre-season and attempt to earn a new contract at Town.

Gascoigne spent the majority of last season on the sidelines after a double break of his leg in February 2014.
