The former Bradford City man, 28, joins Brandon Daniels, Danny Ellis and Paul Thirlwell as new recruits at Town for the 2015/16 campaign.

Colbeck started his career as a youth player with the Bantams before making his debut for the first team against Notts County in the League Cup.

Over a five year period, he went on to make 116 appearances, scoring eight goals.

After leaving Bradford in September 2009, he joined League One side Oldham Athletic for an undisclosed fee.

However, within two years he was on the move again, as he linked up with Hereford United at the beginning of the 2010-2011 season.

He has gradually dropped down the football hierarchy and has also had spells at Grimsby Town and most recently Bradford Park Avenue.

He returned two goals in 38 games while at the Horsfall Stadium last season.
