Worsfold made a bright impression on the Town faithful in his first campaign at the CNG Stadium in 2013/14.

The forward scored 16 goals leading the line for Town after forging a potent partnership with the poweful Chris Hall.
But his hopes of replicating that form were ruined after he suffered a broken leg in a charity match on the eve of last season.

The injury kept the forward on the sidelines for most of Town’s disappointing campaign.

And after struggling for form on his return, he was soon shipped out on loan to Alfreton Town to gain match fitness.

Town boss Simon Weaver offered the former Sheffield Wednesday youth player the chance to return to pre-season training at the club.

But he has instead chosen to link up with former Town striker Liam Hardy at Peak District outfit Buxton.
