Yorkshire’s Ryan Sidebottom signed for $32,000 in auction for inaugural Masters Cricket League

Sidebottom, who helped Yorkshire CCC retain the County Championships in the summer, was bought by the Libra Legends in Monday’s auction for $32,000.

He will feature in the same legends team as Jacques Kallis, Sourav Ganguly and former England teammate Graeme Swann.

Six franchisees had a total buying kitty of $750,000 to spend in the auctions, with dozens of world class veteran cricketers in the process.

The T20 competition will start in January, 2016.
