EA Sports have been unveiling player stats ahead of the release of Fifa 21 on 6 October.

For several editions now, pace has been one of the more vital Fifa statistics, whether you’re looking for a centre back who can tame the likes of Kylian Mbappe or you’re after a winger who can turn defence into attack in a few strides.

To save you from trawling through the game’s player finder we’ve rounded up the stars with the quickest turn of pace.

Where there are multiple players with the same Pace stat (for instance, there are more players ranked at 94 than we could fit on this list) we’ve ranked them in order of their overall stat first.

We’ve also left out the overpowered and ludicrously pricey Icon cards.

Kylian Mbappe (Paris St-Germain) PACE 96

For the second game in-a-row Kylian Mbappe has been named the joint-fastest player in FIFA. With his card bumped up to 90 overall, the PSG superstar will be a force to be reckoned with.

Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich) PACE 96

Bayern Munich’s Canaidan full-back enjoyed a stunning breakout year, playing a major part in his club’s Champions League triumph. Expect his card to only improve in the traditional career mode.

Adama Traore (Wolves) PACE 96

Renowned for his combination of strength and pace Adama Traore was arguably the most enjoyable player to watch in the Premier League last season. The Spaniard’s pace is the joint highest in the league this season.

Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid) PACE 95

A standout in Real Madrid’s La Liga winning side, Vinicius Junior is rewarded with 95 Pace. This combined with five-star skills should make him an outstanding teammate or formidable opponent.

Daniel James (Manchester United) PACE 95

His debut season at Old Trafford was underwhelming but the Welshman did show flashes of excitement outpacing opposition defenders with ease. Expect his card to progress nicely as you rack up career mode seasons.

Kensuke Nagai (FC Tokyo) PACE 95

An unknown to European football followers, Kensuke Nagai is blessed with blistering pace. Rated 70 he could be a welcome addition to a Championship side.

Anibal Chala (Dijon) PACE 95

If a winger gets the better of Ecuadorian Anibal Chala it won’t be because of his pace. His rating of 95 is complemented with 64 defending and 66 physical.

Sadio Mane (Liverpool) PACE 94

The pick of Liverpool’s championship winning side, Sadio Mane bewildered defences with his lightning turn of pace. His 90-rated card also boasts 90 dribbling.

Achraf Hakimi (Inter Milan) PACE 94

An unlikely source of goals and assists for Borussia Dortmund last season Moroccan Achraf Hakimi has swapped the Rhineland for Italy’s glamorous north. Expect him to play a key part in Serie A squad builders.

Rafa (Benfica) PACE 94

94 pace paired with 84 dribbling will catch the eye of career mode managers keen to inject pace on the left wing. His place in the Portuguese league may make him less attractive to Ultimate Team builders.

Inaki Williams (Athletic Bilbao) PACE 94

The darling of La Liga’s Basque giants, Inaki Williams is a goalscorer equipped with bags of pace. His 81 physical rating will make him a nightmare for defenders.

Gelson Martins (AS Monaco) PACE 94

5-star skiller Gelson Martins will add flair to any Ligue 1 squad builders. Aged just 24 he also has potential to grow a rating or two in career mode.

Leon Bailey (Bayer Leverkusen) PACE 94

Blessed with the sprinting ability of his countryman, Jamaican Leon Bailey has made a habit of leaving embarrassed defenders in his wake while at Bayer Leverkusen. He’s been issued with a not-too-shabby pace rating of 94 this year.

Ismaila Sarr (Watford) PACE 94

Ismaila Sarr earned the attention of the footballing world when he spearheaded Watford’s remarkable 3-0 victory over a previously unbeaten Liverpool side. Don’t be suprised if his 78-rated card is issued with a winter upgrade.

Krepin Diatta (Club Brugge) PACE 94

Club Brugge’s young star has been linked with moves out of Belgium but for now he is staying put with the reigning champions. The right midfielder should be capable of terrorising the most established left back.

Aurelio Buta (Antwerp) PACE 94

Another Belgian-based star with pace to burn is Antwerp’s Aurelio Buta. He’s issued with 94-rated pace.

Chidera Ejuke (Heerenveen) PACE 94

With 69 shot and 74 dribbling, alongside a pace rating of 94 Ejuke could be worth forking out for if you’re managing a bottom half Premier League side.

Tom Barkhuizen (Preston North End) PACE 94

The fastest English player in the game Tom Barkuizen is currently plying his trade with Preston North End. His silver card could fetch a pretty penny in Ultimate Team mode.

Kim In Seong (Ulsan Hyundai) PACE 94

Kim In Seong’s pace may make him appealing but at the age of 30 this may dip after a season or two in career mode.

Nikola Mileusnic (Adelaide United) PACE 94

The game’s fastest bronze player Nikola Mileusnic could pull a premium price on Ultimate Team despite less than remarkable stats.
