A young biker from Harrogate has been killed in a crash on the A59.
The 25-year-old man was involved in a crash near the entrance of High Moor Farm Caravan Park at around 5.10pm yesterday (Sunday).
Police say the man, who was riding a black Triumph Daytona motorcycle, was taken to hospital after the crash with a gold Honda CRV but was sadly pronounced dead.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses as they try to find out what happened.
TC Sean Grey, of the North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group, said: “I know that there was a lot of traffic in the area at the time of the collision and I am urging the occupants of the cars to come forward straight away as they may have vital information which could help my enquiries.”
