An award-winning Harrogate craft beer bar/cafe is taking a family-friendly approach to watching the World Cup which kicks off today.
Starling Independent Beer & Coffee House, which won Best Newcomer in the recent Harrogate Hospitality and Tourism Awards, is offering its plush 'barn' room to watch the football in a comfortable setting with family groups on a 55” LED TV with a full sound system.
Located on Oxford Street, Starling has become known for doing things differently, and is determined people can support England away from the usual more traditional 'lads' pubs and clubs setting.
Director Simon Midgley said, as well as specialist teas/coffees, beers, soft drinks and food, the bar would be serving up a special pizza and drink combo.
The World Cup runs in various locations in Russia from June 14 to July 15.
The opening match of the tournament is Russia versus Saudi Arabia on Thursday, June 14 at 4pm.
England's group stage matches are:
England v Tunisia on Monday, June 18 at 7pm
England v Panama on Sunday, June 24 at 1pm
England v Belgium on Thursday, June 28 at 7pm.
