When will Aldi open in Harrogate?

Aldi have started to recruit staff for their long-awaited Harrogate store which will open in May 2016.

Planning permission was granted for the German budget supermarket chain in June last year, and the store at the Harrogate Retail Park will open its doors to shoppers in May 2016.

Recruitment has started for the chain which has grown in popularity in the last few years.

The budget retailer saw sales increase by 22.6 per cent over the 2014 Christmas period, and was named as the Supermarket of the Year for 2015 by Which.

Aldi is also planning to open stores in nearby Ripon and Wetherby.
