Following the chaos from Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis, which led to flooding and disruption, Harrogate and the surrounding areas are once again to be hit by heavy rain.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain throughout Friday and into Saturday morning.

It says: "Persistent rain, heavy over hills, may lead to flooding and travel disruption during Friday and Friday night."

The warning is in place from 12pm on Friday to 6am on Saturday.
