'Hottest day of year' for Harrogate as temperatures set to hit 30 degrees

Harrogate is in for a scorcher, with temperatures of up to 30C expected throughout the day.

The warmest part of the day is set to be between 2pm and 6pm with high UV rays and plenty of sun.

With little chance of rain and light winds forecast, it is definitely a day to pack the suncream and stay hydrated.

Residents are also being reminded to stick to social distancing rules as tourist hotspots are expected to be busy in the sunshine.
