The Met Office says: "Ice and snow may bring some travel disruption from Wednesday evening through Thursday morning."

Temperatures are expected to drop as low as minus three in the early hours of Thursday morning, before returning above freezing around midday.

Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services

Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
