Harrogate district set for ANOTHER weekend of weather warnings, heavy rain and possible floods

Harrogate is heading into its third weekend of heavy rain and yellow weather warnings from the Met Office, after widespread flooding and disruption in recent weeks.

Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis have caused problems across the district for the last few weeks, and yet more bad weather is on the way this weekend.

A yellow weather warning for heavy rain is in place across Yorkshire throughout today and tonight, ending at 6am tomorrow, Saturday.

The Met Office says: "Persistent rain, heavy over hills, may lead to flooding and travel disruption during Friday and Friday night."
