Viral sensation: Talking crows in Knaresborough set the tongues wagging

Knaresborough Castle may have a long and distinguished royal history but it's crows which have put it on the social media map recently.

Two visitors, Mark and Lisa Brooks, have made a short video clip of one particular bird chatting which has made a huge impact.

Visitors have been stunned by the talking crow at Knaresborough Castle.

The clip shows the crow saying “Y’alright love?” in a perfect Yorkshire accent.

It's clearly no one-off incident. A Harrogate Advertiser reader has sent us this clip of another bird talking at Knaresborough Castle.

Be advised, some crows - and ravens - have been known to swear, so be careful what you say around them if you're visiting!
