From July 14-16 Harrogate will play host to England’s premier agricultural event, the Great Yorkshire Show.

Exclusive pictures and a full show report in this week’s Harrogate Advertiser - on sale Thursday, July 16.

More than 12,000 competitive entries, over 8,000 animals, approximately 45,000 cars and around 130,000 visitors are expected at the 2015 event.

Since 1838 the Yorkshire Agricultural Society has been behind the immensely successful event, which has an annual running cost of £3 million.
