VIDEO: Crowds savour triumphant Knaresborough Bed Race

Large crowds gathered to cheer the 2016 edition of the Knaresborough Bed Race.

Competitiors from across Yorkshire and beyond brought their very best to Knaresborough on Saturday for the world-famous event.

Planet Steel were crowned the fastest team, and Ripon Runners Girls the fastest female team.

St John Fisher was given the nod for its outstanding contribution to the bed race.

There was also 12 hours of free music for fans to enjoy at the Bed Fest event, which took part from noon until midnight on race day.
