UPDATE: Two people cut free after car hits tree near Harrogate

Fire crews cut two people free from a car that hit a tree on Otley Road between Harrogate and Beckwithshaw.

Both casualties were taken to hospital by road ambulance.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance attended the scene as a precaution.

Emergency crews remain at the scene and the road is currently closed.
