UPDATE: Harrogate woman in Leeds General Infirmary after Penny Pot Lane crash

A 22-year-old woman from Harrogate remains in a serious condition at Leeds General Infirmary after a crash on Penny Pot Lane this morning (January 7).

The woman, driving a Seat collided with a 25-year-old man from the Pateley Bridge area near the B6451 junction at 8.37am.

North Yorkshire Police closed the road shortly after they were called to the crash with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and North Yorkshire Fire Service also in attendance.

The woman was taken by road ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary with serious facial and foot injuries. Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The man was taken to Harrogate Hospital.
