A crash on the A61 has left two men in hospital with serious injuries after they were thrown from their car at Almsford Bank.
The two men were treated at the scene by firefighters, given oxygen and first aid before they were taken to Harrogate District Hospital with head injuries.
Police say the crash, shortly before midnight on Saturday, involved a silver Peugeot which had been travelling towards Leeds.
The A61 was closed for several hours afterwards as officers examined the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who saw the vehicle prior to the crash to come forward.
