Tributes paid to Harrogate woman killed in Otley Road crash

Tributes have been left after a Harrogate woman was killed in a crash on Otley Road yesterday morning (August 14).

A number of flower bouquets have been laid at the scene of Arthurs Avenue, at the junction of Otley Road, following the fatal collision.

The crash happened at around 7am and involved a blue Ford Fiesta and a blue BMW 1 series car.

The woman driving the blue Ford Fiesta was pronounced dead at the scene.One tribute to the woman read: "Our thoughts are with you and North Yorks Police. From all at Harrogate Ambulance Station."

Three men in the BMW have been arrested in connection with the crash on suspicion of drink driving and causing death by dangerous driving and remain in custody.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or saw either of the cars before the crash to contact them on 101 and quote reference 12160146200.
