Police are advising motorists to avoid Wetherby Road in Harrogate after a broken down lorry has caused long queues of traffic this morning.

The hay lorry is believed to have broken down today at around 10am near to the branch of Sainsbury's on the road.

North Yorkshire Police have said the public should try to avoid the area. A recovery vehicle was reported to have been arranged.
