The major snow disruption you need to know about in Harrogate, Ripon and Pateley Bridge

Here is some of the major disruption you need to know about...

Bus delays and cancellations

- The Harrogate Bus Company's number 24 bus cannot reach Pateley Bridge.

The arrival of heavy snow in the Harrogate district has caused major disruption to roads and services this morning.

- The number 7 bus cannot reach Spofforth due to an overturned vehicle.

- At 8am, the company said their buses can't get through Wormald Green, and is unable to run between Harrogate and Ripon. They said: "Unfortunately we can’t run buses between Harrogate and Ripon as one bus is stuck and the road is blocked at Wormald Green."

- Between Leeds and Harrogate, the 36 is running normally but with some delays.

Disruption to bin collections

A Harrogate Borough Council spokesperson said: "The bad weather is causing disruption to our waste and recycling collections this morning. We will do our best to complete all the routes, but it may not be possible. We'll keep you updated. Thanks, in advance, for your patience."
