Latest: Bus catches fire near Brimham Rocks

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called this morning to reports that a bus had caught fire near Brimham Rocks.

The fire service were called at 8.56am to reports of a bus on fire and sent two fire engines to the scene.

However, upon arrival, crews from Ripon and Summerbridge found that the fire had already been put out.

The fire was believed to have been caused by a blown turbo.

Both fire crews carried out an inspection of the bus using a thermal imaging camera.

As of yet, there are no reports of any injuries and no details if anyone was on the bus.
