Driver fails to stop after hitting cyclist on Hall lane

A 24-year-old Harrogate cyclist was injured when she was hit on Hall Lane by a car which failed to stop on Friday morning (October 9).

The cyclist was riding her black and green bike towards Bilton Lane when she was hit by the hatchback car travelling in the same direction.

The collision occurred when a white Ford Transit type vehicle was coming in the opposite direction to the red/orange hatchback on Hall Lane.

The hatchback then collided with the cyclist and failed to stop, leaving her with slight injuries to her left foot and ankle.

Police are now appealing for witnesses following the collision. Anyone with information is asked to all 101, press option two and speak to TC Rob Roberts.
