Resurfacing will also be carried out on Otley Road and Beckwith Road later this year, however North Yorkshire County Council is awaiting work by Yorkshire Water to be completed.

The £1.1m set of repairs is part of a program of works from NYCC which will see a total of £9.85 million invested in to the district's roads across 2018/2019. £4 million has been put into a spring surface dressing program, which treated 75 miles of road across the district.

Close to £1.2 million of additional funding from the government is also to go towards patching work on potholes.
